About

Food for Tots started as a dream of two nutritionists who believe we can reverse the current trend of childhood obesity. We have gained our knowledge into becoming nutritionists form California State University of Sacramento. One of us became a parent at a very young age and at the time knew nothing about nutrition not only for himself but for his newborn daughter. The other has witnessed firsthand from her fellow peers in the aspect of the confusion that comes from nutrition and new parents.

What We Do
We at Food for Tots believe in a healthy lifestyle for our future and that begins with our children. From experience of parenthood and witnessing firsthand from our peers becoming parents, we made the connection that parents often find themselves uncertain in the nutrition they provide for their children. This uncertainty is leading to a new epidemic of a younger age of type II diabetes and the elevated amounts of obesity in children.
We strive to provide information on current trends and recommendations for the nutrition of children as well as adolescents. The beauty of our workshops happen to be that even though it is centered on providing the proper nutrition for children, one can also use the knowledge from this class to prepare meals for themselves.
